We are always happy to walk you through any costs before treatment begins.

We are so glad you found us. If your pet has been seen by another clinic, we will ask for a copy of their medical records. You can request those directly from your previous vet, or let us know and we will coordinate the transfer for you. This helps us get a full picture of your pet’s health history so we can provide the best care moving forward. You can also upload your pet’s records directly in the AprilVets mobile app or include your previous vet’s information so we can help facilitate the process.

Some AprilVets locations offer a membership program that may include unlimited exams at no extra charge. This means more flexibility for check-ins and peace of mind knowing your pet’s health can be monitored regularly without worrying about an exam fee. Diagnostics, treatments, or medications are billed separately, and our team will always explain any costs before proceeding. Yes, we work with all major pet insurance providers. While we do not direct bill, we will provide all the paperwork and receipts needed for you to submit your claim. If you are new to pet insurance or have questions about your coverage, our team is happy to guide you through the process.
